Matthew Davies Shares Games You Can Play Outside with Your Kids

Introduction
Playing some outdoor games with your kids is a great way to spend your weekends. These fun activities will help you to foster a deeper bond between you and your kids. Also, do you not love to see that huge smile on your kids’ faces when they realize it’s time for some fun? Now, if you are short on ideas, don’t worry. My friend and a father, Matthew Davies will share some outdoor games that you can play with your children.

I remember playing the game of tag and hide and seek with my father when I was a kid. I still cherish those memories in my heart. In order to share the same experience with my kids, I play with them every Sunday evening. You can do so too if you want to make your kids more energetic and build a deeper bond with them.

The Games
Here are some games you can play outside with your kids -

1. Hide and Seek - Nobody can deny that ‘hide and seek’ is a classic game and incredibly fun to play. The rules of this game are very simple, and you don’t need any equipment. One of the players has to become the ‘it’ and count to a number (10) while closing their eyes. While the ‘it’ is counting, the players have to hide. In order to become safe, the other players have to tag the ‘it’. However, if the ‘it’ can spot the players first, then they will win the round.

The best thing about this game is that it is equally fun to become the ‘it’ and hide as well. Also, there is no restriction on the player count. The game is very fun to play in different locations, with friends and family members.

2. Tag - This is also a classic game and is very simple to play. You can play with any number of people and there is no need to carry any equipment. The game starts by one of the players becoming the ‘it’. Then all they have to do is run around and tag the other players. The other players will try to run and get away from the ‘it’. Once the ‘it’ tags a player, the player becomes the new ‘it’.

3. Outdoor Twister - This is a version of twister that you can play on your yard. The rules are pretty simple, and you can get creative as well. All you need to do is spray-paint the different color circles on your yard. You only have to do this once and you can play it every week until it is time again to mow the lawn.

Make sure to clear the play area of any junk objects or sharp particles that may hurt the payers and your kids.

4.Blind man’s bluff - This is also a very popular game that is very fun to play. It is similar to the game of tag with only one difference. In this game, the ‘it’ wears a blindfold and tries to tag the other players. It is important to play the game in a safe play area and under the supervision of adults as the ‘it’ may hurt themselves if not careful.

Conclusion
All the games listed above by Matthew Davies are equally fun to play. If you have never played these games, be sure to try them with your kids and enjoy the moment.
